    Multiport Valves - Heavy Duty Construction Constructed from heavy duty ABS and GFPP, Waterco Multiport valves are designed for high performance and working pressures.Waterco's entire range of Multiport valves are engineered to withstand a working pressure of up to 400 kPa (58 psi) with a test pressure of 600 kPa (87 psi). Cleansing a filter simply requires shifting the Multiport lever from the "filter" position to the "backwash" position, which reverses the flow of water in the filter, flushing the filter bed.     Multiport Valve Main Functions

    1. Filter - downward flow through the filter bed to outlet
    2. Backwash - upward flow through the filter bed to waste
    3. Rinse - downward flow through the filter bed to waste
    4. Waste - bypass the filter bed to waste
    5. Re-circulate - bypass the filter bed to outlet
    6. Closed - no flow to the filter
